GUIDED DIVES

Novice divers, experts, photo lovers... the depths of Nosy Be offer spectacular diving for any level of experience: the depths vary from a few meters up to 30 and beyond. The biodiversity and the integrity of the reef in this area, little frequented by tourists, are our flagship: hard, soft corals, gorgonians and sponges are the setting for a bustling life composed of tropical fish (butterfly, surgeon, triggerfish, clown, etc...)turtles, stingrays and moray eels.

  • Being constantly influenced by tides and currents our guided dives do not have a predetermined program. We allow ourselves to choose the sites the same morning to find the most favorable conditions to us.

  • For each dive is included the service of assembly/ disassembly equipment, rinsing and storage, as well as obviously guide, leads and aluminum cylinder 12 lt.

DIVE SITES

NOSY TANIKELY - MARINE PARK:

From -5m to -22m

The flagship of the archipelago, the depths of the island of Tanikely, literally Small Land in Malagasy language, can be explored far and wide at any depth and offer at least three different dive points. The biodiversity of this marine park is inexplicable: in addition to the quantity and variety of corals, you can see from smaller creatures such as nudibranchs, seahorses, needle fish, to medium-sized ones such as turtles and rays, ending with the most massive predators such as giant jacks, groupers and whitetip sharks. For the lucky ones, sporadically you can meet other types of sharks such as giant guitar ray and zebra shark.

MITSIO WRECK

From -18 m to -28 m

On a 28-metre sandy bottom, an old fishing boat was voluntarily sunk in 2007 in order to repopulate marine life.

The dive takes place starting from the keel, and then going up by visiting the wreck outside to the less deep part on 18 meters. The quantity and variety of fish is really impressive: the whole structure is literally covered by scorpions and lionfish of all sizes, crocodile fish, stone fish, box fish, ball fish... All around swimming clouds of yellow liutanids, riflemen and sardines that attract some predators passing like trevally and barracuda.

The more trained eyes can also see different species of nudibranchs, shrimps and frogfish.

Square dive for Advanced levels feasible only with low current coefficients.

ANKORA/WODY

From -12 m to - 24 m

A plateau of not too extensive alive and rich in small fish such as riflemen, snappers and juvenile barracuda. A giant resident moray eel welcomes you to this dive site. Much fun to search for more cryptic wildlife like crocodile fish, leaf fish and nudibranchs.

ATNAM

From - 19 m to -40 m

At first glance it might seem like the usual huge bench on which to get carried away by the current, but this site stands out for a setting that will leave even the most experienced divers speechless. Continuing to go down, we will find below us three large pinnacles that rise from a sandy bottom of over 50 meters. Decorated by an impressive amount of huge gorgonians, we will fly suspended between intertwinings and passages up to a depth of 40 meters and then finish the dive on the main bench.

OUTER GRAND BANC

From -15 m to -30 m

The first fall of the Mozambique channel, made strictly with the rising tide, often reserves pleasant encounters with pelagic fish. Being totally exposed to the current, it is the perfect scenery to go in search of predators such as gray sharks and white fin, as well as various types of tuna, barracuda and carangidae. For the lucky ones, depending on the season, possibility to spot sea eagles, sailfish or some type of shark more impressive.

OLAF

Illuminating small holes and examining even the smallest sponges, we can find an infinite variety of macro subjects: nudibranchs and flat worms of any color and size, leaf fish, pipefish, seahorses, frogfish, rhinos, small crabs and shrimps, without neglecting some ghost pipefish for the more passionate.

BANC ROSARIO

from -14 m to -24 m

An extensive coral formation that shelters a huge variety of marine fauna and flora. The seabed is covered in large part by table corals of various sizes, decorated in turn by gorgonians in good health. Complete the picture sedentary fish such as angelfish, crocodiles, butterfly, parrots. Do not neglect some nice macro meeting.
